On May 22, 2025, His Holiness Mar Awa III, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East Worldwide honored the prayer group with his presence.

His Eminence Mar Afram Athniel, Metropolitan of Syria His Grace Mar Narsai Benjamin, Bishop of Iran, Armenia, and Georgia and His Grace Mar Abris Youkhanan, Bishop of Nohadra (Duhok) and Ninevehwere also members of his delegation.
Imre Vejkey, the leader of the prayer group, emphasized the importance of the Holy Crown in the vicinity of the prayer chamber in his introductory remarks, which is the depository of the Christian existence of our nation. He said that we are proud of the fact that, thanks to St. Stephen's offering of the country, Our Lady is the patron saint of Hungarians and that this is our strength. He stressed that as Members of Parliament we must always remind ourselves that there is a higher law than the one we make, to which we must bow our heads, and that is the law of God. He then quoted a passage from the Gospel which is, as always, extremely topical, in which Jesus bequeaths to us his peace (John 14,27-31a), a peace which we can find nowhere else but in the Lord. This is the peace that is here in us and among us and it is the peace that the world needs.

In her introduction, Dr. Katalin Tóth, Chair of the Board of Trustees, highlighted the extreme importance of the prayer group meetings, given that most of its members are involved in a ministry where they make decisions that affect others, representing them through their trust in them. And in making these decisions, as Christians, we must not forget the importance of prayer and the fact that we are always engaged in God's creative work of building his kingdom. And these meetings prove that, wherever we live in the world, we Christians have one will, one heart and one soul. As the coat of arms of Pope Leo XIV says: "In him, in the one, we are all one" (In Illo Uno Unum). In Illo Uno Unum).

In his response, His Holiness expressed his gratitude to the Hungarian government for the help it is giving to persecuted Christians around the world and held up as an example of the way in which it is bringing Christians in Africa and the Middle East under its protection. He also praised the activities of the prayer group, as its existence and presence in Parliament is clear proof that Hungary is a Christian nation and committed to the principles of its faith.
