For the third time, the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group was invited and participated in the National Prayer Breakfast in Berlin. The 29th edition of the event took place between 05-06 June 2025, where the prayer group was represented by Dr. Ádám Berniczei-Roykó, member of the Board of Trustees of the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group Foundation.
The main theme of the meeting was “Responsibility before God and man”. The event was again attended by prayer group members from more than 30 countries. The official opening ceremony took place on 05 June in the Reichstag building, where the main organisers of the event, including the President of the House of Representatives, Julia Klöckner, representative of the Christian Democratic Union, welcomed the guests.
On 06 June, a joint prayer breakfast was held, followed by round-table discussions where participants shared their thoughts on four different themes. The focus was on important topics such as the situation in the Western Balkans and the responsibility of young adults as the next generation.
During the meetings in Berlin, many countries praised the Hungarian government's commitment to Christianity and its values.
