Advent charity event in Vác

On December 13, 2025, the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group held its traditional Advent charity event. Following Budapest, Pécs, and Kerecsend, the event took place in Vác, organized in cooperation with Bence Rétvári, Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister.

The venue was provided by the Piarista Kilátó Center, whose main objective is to support the career orientation and employment of young people with special educational needs. They see it as their mission to contribute, as a methodological institute supporting the development of career and labor market competencies, to ensuring that young people and adults who have fulfilled their potential in their professions play an active, responsible, and proactive role in the labor market and in their communities.

This year, the Prayer Group welcomed students from the Pivár Ignác Primary School and Special Vocational School, with whom they prepared Christmas cookies. The children also prepared a show for the occasion, the theme of which was the institution's eco-school activities.
