On October 16, the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group held its fourth Hungarian National Prayer Breakfast at the Várkert Bazár prior to the meeting of the Hungarian Standing Conference and the Hungarian Diaspora Council.

Imre Vejkey, leader of the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group, took part in the commemoration of the 69th anniversary of the suppression of the 1956 revolution and war of independence in Székesfehérvár, where they bowed their heads together in honor of those who gave their lives for Hungarian freedom.

Every year, the National Forum Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, holds a commemoration at the Memorial to Hungarian Medical Heroes to pay tribute to the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and healthcare workers who saved the wounded during the two world wars and in the autumn of 1956, even at the cost of their own lives.
